One of our favorite blogs, theeightfold, has an interesting post up today about a somewhat mysterious, but exciting looking new film called “The Shift” that came out of Lighthouse pictures.

Is it a trailer for an documentary? Or is it only a lead-in to this site with more extended interviews on the topic?

Whatever it is, the narrators of the short film–ranging from unknown youth activists to the renowned Desmond Tutu and Al Gore–send some positive and inspirational messages about the current ’shift’ in human perceptions of and interactions with the world.

Among them:

-We (humans) have the power to change the current course of the world and make a positive impact.
-We have no choice but to do so
-Social action is cool
-Activism does not equal martyrdom
-Leadership is a quality inherent in all of us
