Nichelle Stephens, a friend of All Day Buffet, as well as writer, biz advisor, accountant, and comedy producer, directed me to Givenik.com. It’s an online ticket service that offers discounts and special savings for a variety of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, and goes a step further by donating part of the money you spend on the tickets to a partner charitable organization or cause. While only a mere 5% per ticket bought goes to the org of your choice, organizations send out information about the service to their constituents so it ultimately can add up. It works out for everyone in the end: you get to see shows for less and your money doesn’t all go to the man. It’s free to sign up. Check it.

Another cool idea. Hmmm, I’ve noticed a lot of that lately. Companies making it easier for people to donate to causes. Examples such as Red and the post we did on the flavour t-shirts. What are some other things out there? Anyone see any other examples? ADB should look into doing something like that too!
