CrowdFunder is a pretty cool initiative coming out of Boulder, Colorado. It allows for you or your company to raise money in your community. A little money + a lot of people = the power of crowdfunding. Genius idea that taps into the power of crowdsourcing. By collecting a little bit of money from a lot of people, it allows people to raise serious cash money. The catch is that if the goal isn’t met, everyone gets their money back (which isn’t a lot in the first place). Once they start expanding to other cities, it’ll be interesting to see how fast this concept will take off. NYC? NOLA? AUSTIN? We’re waiting!
