Austin, TX has a lot going for it: great music, great food, a beautiful river, academically popular UT, and a lot of style. As Alissa Bayer opens her second spa Milk + Honey, she’s cultivating one more great thing: the art of of doing something positive and leaving the world a better place.

As customers wait in a lounge area, they sip fresh cucumber water, listen to soft music, and inhale flower-infused aromas in the air. It’s said that every customer leaves “with a look of utter contentment and relaxation on their faces.”

“I get to make my living off making people feel more comfortable, more beautiful and less stressful,” says Bayer. Her official mission is to de-stress Austin. Sounds pretty GOOD to me.
