B8 TONIGHT — Global Justice for Burma

August 8th, 2008 by Jerri Chou · No Comments

It’s 8808 and the games have begun! But today is also the 20th anniversary of the 8888 massacre in Burma, the largest protest to date against the military regime.

The government in Burma is making sure it’s quiet today, but you can come out and support the struggle for freedom in Burma in art galleries across the world.

The Prime Minister of a government in exile will be in attendance in New York so you’ll be in good company. Wear red.
