Create for a Cause

There’s a likemind in Africa doing good through creativity–Create for a Cause. The goal–”to connect artists and activists, communities and causes for a collaboration.”
Like music to our ears.
The blog documents Chrissie Lam’s volunteering efforts in Rwanda as well as the “Create for a Cause” endeavor. Entitled “The Pangaea Project” she’s looking to involve people in a creative network that employs their skills and talents for philanthropic causes.
So far, the project has resulted in some sweet Ts. Made from super-soft organic tees donated by Save Khaki and others (some made in Uganda), the shirt carry designs by creatives personally screenprinted by artist and designer Lincoln Mayne.

Maybe our favorite piece so far though, is this Rwanda rebrand. Talk about a fresh take on the country’s identity.

The blog documents the personal journey, the project, and offers profiles of the people she’s working with in an effort to create a personal connection between the donor and the recipients.
“The Pangaea Project in Rwanda is the first venture within “Create for a Cause,” but I would ideally love for this to encompass all nations in need.” We would love that too.
You can purchase the shirts for $40 each, through www.createforacause.com
