Open Intellligence Agency is hosting their “Interesting Conference” in NYC on September 13th. Not only will it be filled with interesting presentations and topics all day, it’s only $35! Yes, that’s super cheap. Rather than going out to eat, go get full on interestingness!
We’ll be speaking on “New Orleans: Social Innovation Hub of the World” where we’ll be discussing innovation, social entrepreneurship and why massive change has taken over the city of New Orleans. Leveraging off the New Orleans 100 list, I’ll be talking about my experience in New Orleans, how it’s changed since Katrina, what you can do to help, and a short list of things to do while you’re in the city.
But, if that’s enough to drag you, there’s a whole buffet of interesting people that will be speaking and attending. We’re looking forward to Marc and Sara Schiller from the Wooster Collective talking about “Urban Art”, Aaran Dignan from Undercurrent talking about “The Game of Life”, and Noah Brier talking about “Making Stuff on the Internet.” Should be a great day full on great ideas, inspiration and people.
While we’re talking about conferences, check out The Feast Conference: Creativity for Good. Should be an awesome one as well! And it’s not because we’re hosting it : )

Hey folks, I actually found your site through PSFK, but I’m slated to speak at Interesting, too! Looking forward to learning more about you, and I’ll see you at the conference! Love your stuff.
