StartingBloc Fundraiser // Friday, October 17th

Wood, Paper, Checkmark // Design 21 Competition

Our friends at the Social Design Network: Design 21 are running a contest with The Nature Conservancy. They are all asking all creative professionals to create elements of a consumer call-to-action campaign to buy FSC-certified products as a means of protecting forests around the world.

Top prize money of $10,000 will be allocated to the winners, so if you’re looking to use your skills for good, enter the Design 21 contest!

The Idea Village has announced the launch of 504ward to engage and retain New Orleans’ best and brightest: the talented and ambitious young people, people committed to working hard, playing harder, and giving back to a community with so much to offer.

They’ve also launched the $100,000 Business Competition for entrepreneurs with ideas to retain young talent in New Orleans. Learn more about the 504ward. Applications are due December 4th.
